Shipping Definitions:

Processing time refers to the time it takes Milkman’s Garage to prepare and ship your order. 

Shipping time refers to the time it takes the shipping carrier to deliver your package once it leaves our hands.
Business Days refers to Monday – Saturday, excluding Holidays.

What Shipping Carrier Do You Use to Ship Your Orders?

We offer FREE shipping on all our packages through the United States Postal Service (USPS) via First Class Mail with tracking information provided via email as a thank you for your business.

You may choose to upgrade your shipping to USPS Priority or USPS Priority Express at checkout for an additional fee.

We do not ship Internationally at this time.

Will Tracking Information Be Provided?

Yes.  You will receive an email from Milkman’s Garage with your USPS Tracking Number. 

Please note that we cannot control whether or not the Postal Employee(s) actually scan the tracking bar code throughout the shipping process.  We hope they do, as this makes stalking Happy Mail throughout their journey much more enjoyable for all parties involved. 🙂 

When Can I Expect My Order to Arrive?

The USPS website currently states the estimated delivery speed for First Class Mail and Priority Mail Packages is 1-3 business days, while the Priority Mail Express delivery is guaranteed 1-2 days and is offered 365 days a year in many locations.

** 08/2020 Important Note: It is important to note that the USPS is currently experiencing slower than normal delivery times due to COVID-19, decreased staff, mail-in ballots, and an influx of holiday packages.  Please select the appropriate shipping method if you need your package by a specific date.  Once your package is in the hands of the USPS, we cannot hurry the process along.  I really wish we could.  I can assure you; we will process your order in 1-2 business days, but I cannot guarantee how long it will take USPS to deliver your Happy Mail to you.

Custom Orders are created in the order they are received.

If you purchase Pre-Made and Custom Order items together in the same order, all items will ship together when your Custom Order is completed.

What Do I Do If My Package Is Late?

While I hope this never happens, the reality is that we’re all human and sometimes we run a little late or things get misplaced.  Before we sound the alarms, let’s check a few things first.

     1. Please check around your mailbox, porch, garage door(s), and any other hidden areas you may have to see if your package has been placed there by your Mailman.
     2. Please check with your neighbors and other family members to see if they accepted the package on your behalf and forgot to mention it to you. (Side Note: This really did happen once. The husband intercepted the Mailman while leaving on his lunch break.  In a hurry, he threw the package in his trunk so it wouldn’t get stolen while at work and forgot all about it.  He found it three weeks later when putting his golf clubs in the trunk of his car.)

If neither of these searches yield any results, please contact us so we can follow the USPS Missing Mail instructions and initiate a Missing Mail Search on your behalf. 

NOTE: A Missing Mail Search cannot be initiated until 7 days after your estimated delivery date.  The latest a Missing Mail Search can be initiated is 365 days after the original date of mailing the package.

IF: The USPS responds that your package has been lost and they cannot find it
THEN: Milkman’s Garage will give you the following options to choose from as a resolution:
     1. A full refund
     2. A replacement of the same products, if they are still available
     3. A store credit of equal value

Do You Offer Expedited Shipping?

We sure do!  We offer USPS Priority Mail and USPS Priority Mail Express Shipping Options.  Once you enter your zip code on the Cart page, the cost of each shipping method will be presented based on your zip code and package weight so you can make an educated decision on how you would like your package shipped.  

Do You Ship Internationally?

We currently only ship within the Continental United States.

OMG!  My Shipping Address Was Wrong on My Order, What Do I Do Now?

Take a deep breath.  Life happens and you move and forget to update your PayPal or Square shipping address.  Let’s get this figured out, shall we?

Because all our products are pre-made, we ship all our orders withing 1-2 business days.  However, we do our best to process them right away.  So, it is very important that you verify your shipping address prior to submitting your order.

IF: Your order was submitted with an incorrect address
AND: We have not shipped your order yet
THEN: We are happy to correct your address for you.
** Please note if you are paying via PayPal, they require that we ship to the Shipping Address in your PayPal profile, so you will need to correct this before we can create a new shipping label.

IF: Your order was submitted with an incorrect address
AND: Your order has already shipped
AND: It gets returned to Milkman’s Garage
AND: You have provided us with your corrected address
THEN: We will happily ship your order to your corrected address.
** However, you will be responsible for the cost of the re-shipment.  We will invoice you via PayPal for the cost of the 2nd shipping label.  Upon payment of the 2nd label, we will reship your package.

IF: Your order was submitted with an incorrect address
AND: Your order has already shipped
AND: It gets returned to Milkman’s Garage
AND: You have not provided us with your corrected address
THEN: We will reach out to you via email.
** If you do not respond within seven (7) days of our message with your corrected address, we will refund you for the cost of your order, minus the cost of the initial shipping.

What Happens If My Package Was Stolen?

We’re so sorry.  Milkman’s Garage cannot be responsible for stolen packages.  If your USPS tracking shows it was delivered to your address but your package was stolen, please contact your local police department to file a police report.

What Happens If My Package Arrives Damaged?

Please see the “What Do I Do If My Item Arrived Damagedsection of our Refund Policy.
